Mass for the Election of the Pope

Bishop Stephen Lee announces that parishes may arrange the celebration of the "Mass for the Election of the Pope" for the faithful on Tuesday, 6th May 2025. [Roman Missal – Masses for Various Needs IV; Eucharistic Prayer for Use in Masses for Various Needs I "The Church on the Path of Unity"; see texts provided by the Liturgical Commission]

On the same day, Tuesday, 6th May 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Cathedral, Bishop Lee will offer a Mass for the intention of electing the Pope [Missa pro eligendo Romano Pontifice]. The faithful are encouraged to attend.
