PRAYER FOR THE SYNOD OF BISHOPS

Pope Francis has announced that the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops will be held on 4 October, with the theme "For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission”. Parishes are invited to use the specially prepared Prayer of the Faithful and the Solemn Blessing for Masses on the Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time.

In addition, the Diocesan Social Communications Centre will broadcast live the Ecumenical Vigil Prayer Service, presided over by the Holy Father, on 1st October at 00:00 Macao time (18:00 Roman time on 30 September).

We hope that Catholics will pray fervently for the Synod especially during its sessions.
