Alert Notice regarding the organisation “Peace for Life” and its President
The Diocese hereby transmits the following message received from the Holy See’s Secretariat of State, Pietro Cardinal Parolin:
A Panamanian named Cristian Eduardo Tietze is known to be the President of an association called “Peace for Life”. He also claims to have close relationship with Pope Francis. The Pope or the Holy See does not recognise or endorse this association or Mr. Tietze. All interested offices and religious superiors or leaders in the Diocese should prevent any eventual deception or financial losses resulting from response to the petitions for donation launched by the improper initiatives of “Peace for Life” and Mr. Tietze.
